Hemline Productions is a styling and creative direction studio founded by Julie Buckner. The studio works across women’s styling, men’s styling, home styling, and commercial wardrobe direction for photography and brand campaigns.

Julie brings a background that spans wardrobe styling, creative production, hospitality leadership, and retail entrepreneurship. She was the managing partner of Bar & Garden in Dallas, where she helped introduce and champion natural wine in Texas while building the business into a internationally recognized boutique shop. Her work there was featured in PaperCity, Texas Monthly, D Magazine, and WFAA.

Earlier in her career Julie worked as a wardrobe stylist, art director, and producer, collaborating with creative teams and brands on commercial and editorial work.

Today, through Hemline Productions, Julie works with private clients on wardrobe and home styling, and with brands and creative teams on wardrobe styling and visual direction.

Her work focuses on fit, proportion, environment, and presentation, creating wardrobes and spaces that feel intentional, functional, and easy to live with.

The goal isn’t dramatic reinvention.
